Mahindra & Mahindra unveiled its new 7/8 seater MPV named Marazzo in India. The new MPV falls in a segment where it will compete with Tata Hexa and Toyota Innova Crysta. The bookings were already open for this vehicle and its delivery will begin soon.
The cars base model has an ex-Showroom price of 9.99 lakhs. Marazzo has been launched in 4 variants – M2, M4 (10.94 lakhs), M6(12.40 lakhs) and M8(13.90 lakhs).
Marazzo Engine
The new MPV by Mahindra has received a new 1.5L diesel engine. With this engine, it can generate 1220 bhp power and 300 Nm torque.
There is a 6-speed manual gearbox in this mpv. No automatic transmission gearbox is currently available for this car. Its petrol variant will also be launched if demand increases.
Marazzo is the company’s longest and widest car till date. Its design is inspired from the shark.
17 inch Alloy Wheels
The safety features include dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist and Isofix Child seat. The mpv’s front side sports stylish chrome grille, pilot lights, double barrel headlamps, integrated LED lamps, eye-shaped fog lamps. It has 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlamp inspired by shark tail design.
Marazzo has been launched in 7 seater and 8 seater options. The 8 seater comes with a foldable bench.
The cabin of the car has been given a premium look. The interior uses dual-tone black with off-white shades.
The car includes features like touchscreen infotainment system., blue tooth, dual pod instrument console, roof mounted air conditioning system. The mpv has three-spoke steering wheel mounted control for audio telephony, cruise control, and automatic climatic control.
The new car has been designed with the joint efforts of teams in Mahindra Automotive North America (MANA) in USA, Pininfarina – an Italian auto design firm and Mahindra Research Valley in India.
