It has only been a month for the newly launched Tiago Crossover car by Tata, and it is already getting praises for the attractive look and ride quality. The company had launched this car in both diesel and petrol versions. This car is featured as one of the best crossover hatchback cars in India in our previous post due to, best in class features at a reasonable price. The crossover targets Maruti Celario as a rival in the segment.
The car has received 3,000 bookings in just one month. Let us find out the new features that have been able to lure the customers.

Exterior Features
The width and length of the car have also increased leading to more cabin and luggage space. A plastic cladding over the door, arch wheel and tailgate reflects a funky crossover look.
The car has used black color on the grille, 14-inch alloy wheels, headlamps, b-pillar, roof, rear spoiler and exterior of glass windows.
There are 3 color shades available for Tiago crossover – Silver, White and Orange.
Interior Features
Inside the cabin, the seats have received denim upholstery with orange stripes. It uses the same audio system which has been installed in regular Tiago. Tiago NRG crossover uses a 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system already used in Tigor.
The center console, AC vent, and gear level have received silver layer.
The engine in Tiago Crossover
Tata Tiago NRG is available in 2 engine fuel types – petrol and diesel. In fact, this crossover car uses the same engine we have seen in Tiago regular. Both engine types are attached to 5-speed manual gearbox.
The petrol variant 1.2L engine produces 85PS power and 114NM torque. Likewise, its diesel variant 1.05L engine outputs 70PS power and 140NM of torque.
The cost of Tiago Crossover
As far as the cost of Tiago crossover is concerned the company has tried to balance it against Freestyle and CelarioX
The petrol version is priced Rs 5.50 lakhs while the diesel version is priced at 6.32 lakhs. Both being ex-Showroom prices in Delhi.
